Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer - Small Works & Service

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Marlowe Fire & Security. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installations and servicing of fire alarm systems in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Carry out routine testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems.
  • Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs on malfunctioning systems.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and technical support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and provide detailed reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in fire alarm installation and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of current fire safety legislation and standards (BS5839).
  • Experience with various fire alarm systems and products.
  • Electrical qualifications or an understanding of electrical systems is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence is required for travel to various client locations.
  • Due to the nature of the industry and the high security clearance requirements of the MoD, you will need to clear the following screening requirements: BS7858, BPSS Security Clearance & SC Clearance.
