Our client, a well-respected food production firm, is looking for a committed and proficient Technical Operations Manager to become part of their team. This position requires close collaboration with various departments, particularly sales and commercial teams, rather than solely concentrating on quality control.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Innovation: Spearhead and oversee product innovation projects, ensuring that new offerings meet exceptional standards of quality and creativity.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with sales and commercial teams to synchronize technical elements with market needs and business objectives.
  • Quality Management: Supervise the quality assurance framework, ensuring adherence to industry benchmarks and regulations.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer technical expertise and support to the production team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Compliance Assurance: Guarantee that all products meet relevant food safety regulations and standards.


Requirements:

  • Food Production Experience: Demonstrated experience in a technical capacity within the food production sector is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in leading technical teams and managing projects.
  • Innovation Experience: Experience in product innovation within the food industry is highly advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across various departments.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
