About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Home Administrator to join our team at Gold Care Homes. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our care homes in Hertfordshire and Essex region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our care homes, including general reception duties, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with the preparation of timesheets, payroll, and financial reports.
  • Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in the delivery of corporate objectives and administration tasks.
  • Coordinate the duty rota, liaise with Bank and Agency staff, and sort and distribute mail.
  • Support the recruitment process, including paperwork and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of residents' documentation, including financial contracts and invoices.
  • Provide financial invoicing and information to clients, including sundry invoices and payments.
  • Process Social Services Assessment forms, invoice, and liaise with Social Services' Finance department.
  • Prepare and submit data relating to petty cash and wages totals.
  • Match supplier invoices and delivery notes, obtain authorization, and submit for payment.
  • Provide an efficient telephone and reception service to the general public and relatives.
  • Attend training courses and sessions as required.
  • Maintain client, staff, and business confidentiality at all times.
  • Prepare and maintain stationery orders, stock, and records.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have a full driving license.
  • Must have previous administrative experience in a care home environment (nursing home experience desirable).
  • Will be supporting care homes in Hertfordshire and Essex region for annual leave cover.
