Lead Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and reporting for month-end close
  • Analysis and review of accruals and prepayments
  • Management of audit and tax preparation, including leveraging tax credits for business advantage
  • Act as the primary contact for accounting technical inquiries
  • Oversee finance team journal entries and authorize postings
  • Ensure thorough review and completion of reconciliation tools for compliance
  • Lead compliance efforts for audits as necessary
  • Manage SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Generate cost center reports and provide support to cost center managers regarding reporting needs
  • Drive process enhancements within the finance department
  • Support the finance team with various operational tasks

Qualifications Required:

  • Partially qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, ideally suited for candidates nearing qualification or recently qualified.
  • Experience with SAP or a strong willingness to learn is essential.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in preparing Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Timely and efficient in task execution
  • Competent IT skills
  • Strong bookkeeping abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing environment
