Credit Controller

We're seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our seasoned team at our Head Office in Longtown. This role requires experience in credit control, a demonstrated understanding of credit agencies and information services, and a professional demeanor on the phone.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your own ledger with an approximate value of £2 million, ranging from 750 – 1000 customers per ledger.
- Prioritize your workload and contact all customers on your ledger to bring in cash and meet individual and team monthly targets.
- Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and communicate effectively with head office departments, branches nationwide, and external bodies.
- Liaise with branch/regional sales offices to rectify invoice queries and raise credit notes according to company procedures.
- Make informed credit limit decisions for customers and maintain up-to-date credit limits.
- Confidence in using Excel spreadsheets and Outlook is essential, with experience in SAP Business One being beneficial.
