Job Summary

The Field Service Representative - Controls and Commissioning will provide global onsite in-Field Service and Technical Support on Siemens Energy Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-field and technical support for Long-Term Projects (LTP), Installation & Commissioning (I&C), Engineered Solutions (ESoL) & Ad-hoc requirements
  • Act as the customer interface for Field Service
  • Administer contracts and associated works
  • Support commissioning activities of Centrifugal compressors
  • Perform equipment commissioning, modifications, services, repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Verify OEM installation instruction and readings
  • Understand multiple control systems
  • Follow and enforce HSE requirements
  • Communicate progress, schedules, and open items with clients

Requirements

  • Understanding of Rotating Equipment operation
  • Experience with troubleshooting and rectifying in-field problems on Siemens Energy AGT products
  • Systems and commissioning activities experience
  • Education in engineering controls related subject
  • Awareness of Seal gas system design
  • Ability to work at all levels to communicate project status
  • Compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies
  • Initiative, flexibility, and ability to work alone or in a team
  • Ability to pass required training and medical requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Must hold valid driver's license and passport
  • Education in Engineering is desirable
  • Industry related experience and qualification in Electrical, Aerospace, Instrumentation & Controls, or Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
