The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively retaining, recruiting, training, and managing a team of Mortgage Advisors across various experience levels, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality mortgage advisory service to clients in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the certification of Mortgage Consultants under your supervision.
- Develop a team of Mortgage Advisors to meet their individual business goals and adhere to the performance and quality standards established by the company.
- Assist in the recruitment, development, and retention of Mortgage Advisors in alignment with the Company's hiring strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Estate Agency colleagues and the New Homes division to maintain a cohesive approach to all business development efforts, ensuring that appointment targets are consistently met.
- In partnership with the Divisional Mortgage Services Director, implement, monitor, and assess business strategies to achieve the desired revenue growth from diverse income streams.
- Work alongside the Divisional Mortgage Services Director and the Training Team to continually evaluate the training and development needs of team members.
Background, Experience, and Qualifications:
- CeMAP qualification (or an equivalent recognized qualification) is essential.
- Demonstrated success as a sales leader within the mortgage sector.
- Strong technical and e-commerce knowledge relevant to the housing and mortgage industry.
- Experience in leading, developing, motivating, and influencing sales professionals in a client-facing environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of core Financial Services products such as Mortgages, Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection, and Home Insurance.
- Familiarity with identifying and maximizing business opportunities within the estate agency sector.
- Knowledge of all legislation affecting a Financial Services business, particularly in the mortgage and protection domain.
- A solid level of technical and e-commerce expertise to effectively train Mortgage Advisors in promoting our services using mortgage sourcing software.
