Job Title: Band 5 Registered Nurse - Respiratory

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (Respiratory) to join our dynamic healthcare team at Willing Care. As a Band 5 nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with respiratory conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our care and contribute to their overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert nursing care, administer medications, and educate patients and their families on respiratory disorders and self-care techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with respiratory conditions, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess respiratory status to ensure patients receive appropriate treatment and support.
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families on respiratory disorders, self-care techniques, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, protocols, and policies to improve respiratory care services.
  • Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and addressed effectively.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with active UK NMC registration.
  • Experience in respiratory care and a solid understanding of related conditions and treatments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
