As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering recovery-focused interventions to adults with severe mental illness in the Witney and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver emotional and practical support to service users under the guidance of qualified mental health clinicians and team leaders.
  • Work effectively as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
  • Use the principles of a flexible assertive community treatment (FACT) model of healthcare to provide person-centred, evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate with third sector providers as part of the Oxford Mental Health Partnership (OMHP) to deliver accessible, responsive, and high-quality care.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience of mental health services, either as a worker or service user/carers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with service users and their families/carers.
  • Able to form positive working relationships with service users and contribute to improving the quality of life for people with mental health problems.
  • Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of people with mental health needs.
  • Ability to travel within the geographical work area and access a range of settings, including visiting people at home.
