Make a Difference in Children's Lives

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Family Time Worker. As a Family Time Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring positive connections between looked-after children and their birth families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise family time between children and their families at designated contact centres and community settings.
  • Create detailed observations and reports on your interactions with children and families.
  • Liaise with social workers and escalate any concerns you may have about a child's well-being.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for children and families during these visits.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle.
  • A relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 in Working with Children and Young People (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working with children, young people, or families in a social care, educational, or voluntary setting.
  • A strong understanding of child development and the needs of children in care.
  • Excellent written communication skills to document observations and reports.
  • A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their well-being.
  • A team player with a caring and reliable personality.
