Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will spearhead and refine the existing logistics and supply chain operations, playing a crucial role in demand forecasting, inventory management, and planning.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Head of Operations and is essential to the team, utilizing historical sales insights, promotional impacts, forecast accuracy metrics, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Challenge existing assumptions through thorough analysis and logical reasoning to ensure accurate SKU forecasting.
2. Develop and enhance operational methodologies while contributing to both local and global Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) initiatives.
Collaboration:
The planner will ensure comprehensive demand forecasting and S&OP activities for all product lines, working closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to shape demand and create impartial forecasts over a 24-month period.
Data Management:
The successful candidate will also oversee the maintenance of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) master data, enhance system workflows, and lead the S&OP process. This includes presenting demand consensus, identifying discrepancies between demand and financial forecasts, and aligning potential risks and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical capabilities and advanced proficiency in Excel are essential, along with experience in planning or analytical roles focused on S&OP. Familiarity with SAP (IBP, APO, ERP) is required, complemented by excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is preferred.
Interview Process:
Competency-based interview followed by an in-person meeting with the team.
