Position Overview:

We are excited to announce a full-time and permanent opportunity for a Site Operations Coordinator to collaborate closely with our Site Manager, taking on a pivotal role in overseeing terminal operations as needed.

This dynamic and hands-on position is based in a bustling environment, requiring active participation in daily operations. Our primary goal is to ensure the facility operates at peak efficiency, enabling us to provide high-quality nutrient blends to our agricultural clients for optimal crop production.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Engaging with the team to master all operational tasks and lead by example.
  • Coordinating the arrival and departure of vessels.
  • Supervising the blending and packaging processes from initiation to completion.
  • Managing operations from the control center to ensure smooth plant throughput as necessary.
  • Utilizing fork-lift equipment to load finished products onto our transport vehicles.
  • Assisting in supervising, organizing, supporting, and motivating the operational team.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience operating a Fork-Lift Truck, with proficiency in counterbalance operations.
  • Experience with a Volvo shovel is advantageous.
  • A reasonable level of fitness to handle manual tasks.
  • Previous supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, or equivalent operational systems, along with confidence in using control panels.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain operational processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety systems and protocols from previous supervisory roles is a plus.
