Position Overview:

We are excited to announce a full-time and permanent opportunity for a Site Operations Supervisor to collaborate closely with our Site Manager. This role is pivotal in managing terminal operations as needed.

This dynamic and hands-on position is based at our operational facility and requires active participation in various tasks within the yard. Our primary goal is to optimize our facility's efficiency, enabling us to provide high-quality nutrient blends for our agricultural clients to cultivate cereal crops.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Leading by example while learning all operational tasks.
  • Coordinating the scheduling of vessel arrivals and departures.
  • Overseeing the blending and packaging processes from initiation to completion.
  • Managing operations from the control center to ensure optimal plant throughput when necessary.
  • Utilizing fork-lift equipment to load finished products onto our transport vehicles.
  • Assisting in supervising, organizing, supporting, and motivating the operational team.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience operating Fork-Lift Trucks, particularly counterbalance models.
  • Experience with heavy machinery, such as a Volvo shovel, is a plus.
  • A reasonable level of fitness for manual handling tasks.
  • Previous supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or similar environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, or equivalent operational systems, along with experience working with control panels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain operational processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety systems and protocols from previous supervisory roles is advantageous.
