Counterbalance Forklift Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team at Gap Personnel - Gloucester. As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload goods, as well as transporting products throughout the warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading goods from lorries
  • Stock replenishment into the warehouse and yard departments
  • Transporting products throughout the warehouse as per supervisor request
  • High picks and manual picking
  • Packing orders as needed
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
Pay Rates:
  • Basic rate: £14 per hour for candidates with a valid FLT licence, £12 per hour for candidates without a FLT licence
  • OT paid at the same rate

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working in a similar role and hold a valid Forklift certificate. You will be required to provide your certificate as part of the selection process. Inductions will be held on site in line with our health and safety policies.
