About the Role: Aatom Recruitment is seeking a Lead Facilities Coordinator for a temporary engagement, with the potential for extension. This position is primarily focused on overseeing maintenance operations while providing support to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the in-house repair services, including the supervision of maintenance personnel.
- Manage external contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and satisfactory completion of tasks.
- Assist the Facilities Manager with significant facilities management projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage expenditures related to building materials and facilities management supplies.
- Perform routine testing on safety equipment, including fire alarms, generators, and hydrant systems.
Ideal Candidate: This role is well-suited for individuals currently working as an In-house Maintenance Manager or Supervisor, or those in a Maintenance Operative role looking to advance into a managerial position. Experience in plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and minor electrical work is advantageous.
Collaboration: You will work closely with the Building Services Manager to ensure the effective delivery of both hard and soft facilities management services.
