Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Monitor Wastewater Treatment Processes: Ensure that wastewater treatment processes are operating efficiently and effectively, and that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Perform Routine Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and machinery to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Adjust Operational Parameters: Adjust chemical dosing, flow rates, and other operational parameters to optimize plant performance and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
  • Record and Report Operational Data: Record and report operational data, including flow rates, pressure, and chemical levels, to ensure that all relevant information is accurately documented.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance Teams: Work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure that all plant operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, and that a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Process Operator within the water or wastewater industry is essential for this role.
  • Strong Understanding: A strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and associated equipment is required.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for this role.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications or qualifications in water treatment or process operations are advantageous.

Contract Details:

  • Rate: A competitive rate, commensurate with experience.
  • Location: The North West of England.
  • Contract Type: Outside IR35.
  • Duration: A contract until April 2025, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
