About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Psychology Graduate to join our team as an SEN Teaching Assistant at a wonderful Secondary School in Hull. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher with pupil behavior and learning, helping to prepare lesson plans, and contributing to the overall well-being of the students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher with pupil behavior and learning.
- Help to prepare lesson plans.
- Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs.
- Collaborate with the SEN team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2.1 degree from a Top 20 UK University.
- Prior experience working with children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students.
