Payroll Officer Job Description

Red Rock Consultants Ltd is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their team on a part-time, hybrid basis at East Midlands Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement and manage a new payroll system to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  2. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll, tax legislation, GDPR, and pensions.
  3. Design, implement, and manage payroll processes and controls, including maintaining payroll systems reflecting current employee contracts and collective agreements.
  4. Keep payroll procedures updated and ensure payroll is accurately processed, on time.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience managing payroll in a medium or large organization.
  2. Essential experience with Sage 50 payroll system and strong IT skills, including competency in HR, payroll, and financial systems.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll, tax legislation, GDPR, and pensions.
  4. Experience designing, implementing, and managing payroll processes and controls.
Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £14,420 (pro rata)
Hybrid working arrangement
