Due to the ongoing expansion of our client, an exciting opportunity has arisen for skilled General Builders to join their team, specializing in multi-trade projects. This position primarily involves collaborating with a vibrant and motivated team to execute home improvement and extension initiatives. Candidates should possess City and Guilds level 3 qualifications, SSSTS, or equivalent, and have a background in wet trades or carpentry, with experience in both domestic and residential construction sectors. If you are ready to step into a leadership role as a Site Operations Supervisor, this may be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the site team effectively.
- Demonstrate multi-trade skills.
- Oversee groundwork and drainage tasks.
- Manage landscaping projects.
- Supervise the construction of extensions.
- Conduct 1st and 2nd fix carpentry work.
- Implement structural alterations utilizing steelwork.
- Handle insulation, boarding, and plastering duties.
- Ensure appropriate transportation (van) for material delivery to site.
- Provide support to the broader team as needed.
- Assist managers and project managers as required.
This role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring quick thinking and problem-solving skills, all within a friendly and enjoyable work environment. Compensation and Benefits for Self-Employed:
- Self-employed rate of £180 per day.
- Employed salary ranging from £32,000 to £36,000, based on experience.
- 39-hour work week.
