Cleaning Operative Lewes

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Lewes, a CAT B Mens prison. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for all.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth and safe operation of the prison.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the prison's facilities, including equipment and machinery.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Experience of working in a cleaning environment, preferably in a prison or similar setting.
- Knowledge of COSHH and relevant health and safety requirements.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills.
