A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Accountant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking Accountancy practice in Waterlooville. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and developing your own portfolio of client accounts, working closely with the Accountancy Manager to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit accurate and timely accounts and tax returns for clients
- Review and prepare bookkeeping and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Assess and advise clients on their tax position, identifying opportunities for tax efficiency
- Liaise with clients and HM Revenue & Customs to resolve queries and ensure all deadlines are met
- Prepare and attend year-end client meetings, providing expert guidance and support
- Previous experience within an Accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of end-to-end accounts management
- Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, AAT) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, both internally and externally, with a strong attention to detail
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a sound working knowledge of QuickBooks and Xero
