Job Summary

The successful candidate will be part of the Data team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, working collaboratively with colleagues to gather, input, analyze, and manage data requirements. They will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical data, monitoring KPI performance, and providing support to staff in data entry and management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage statistical information using spreadsheets, databases, or dedicated information systems.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in using software tools for data extraction, analysis, and presentation, including SystmOne, PowerBI/Tableau, Powerpoint, and MS Excel.
  • Import and convert data using SystmOne/PowerBI/Tableau/Powerpoint/MS Excel, and possess the technical ability to learn new skills as data systems evolve.
  • Take responsibility for timely and accurate inputting of clinical data, and proactively liaise with clinical colleagues to ensure the collection and provision of information.
  • Work with the Sector Manager to produce quarterly reports and other data sets as required.
  • Liaise with colleagues within and outside the Trust to provide accurate data for various purposes.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to a diploma level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • Recognized qualification in the use of computer software Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI/Tableau.

Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience in using a range of software tools, including SystmOne, PowerBI/Tableau/Powerpoint, DET, and MS Excel.
  • Experience of collecting, inputting, and analyzing data.
  • Experience of contributing to reports.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in an Addictions service and using relevant monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Experience of SystmOne, Tableau, and DET.
