About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our fast-paced and friendly catering department at Dewsbury Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe, hygienic, and nutritious food service for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of food preparation and serving areas.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene legislation and the Trust Food Safety Policy (HACCP).
  • Regenerate patient food using equipment as trained.
  • Serve meals in an appetizing and attractive manner.
  • Ensure accurate portion control and correct food temperatures.
  • Participate in general cleaning and waste disposal.
  • Check stock deliveries and complete documentation.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Awareness of regulatory catering hygiene requirements.
  • Good food preparation skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and satisfy occupational health screening.
  • Previous experience within catering and Level Two Food Hygiene certificate.
