Role Summary

The selected individual will play a vital role in the firm's renowned Intellectual Property and Patent litigation division, recognized for its thorough approach to IP law, encompassing prosecution, litigation, and licensing. The team is composed of solicitors, barristers, patent attorneys, and trademark attorneys, all supported by a strong cadre of practice managers and paralegals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Overseeing patent litigation matters, particularly within the technology and life sciences sectors.
  • Collaborating with global teams on cross-border litigation cases.
  • Working alongside a team of highly qualified associates and partners.
  • Delivering strategic legal advice to clients and managing significant case responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in IP litigation with a specialization in patents.
  • Background in the technology and/or life sciences fields is highly advantageous.
  • Educational qualifications in electronics, engineering, biology, chemistry, or pharmacology are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to client relations.
