Millfield School Seeks a Temporary Teacher of Biology and Psychology
We are looking for a highly motivated and inspiring full-time temporary teacher of Biology and Psychology to join our team from January 2024 to the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from Year 9 to A-level and Psychology to A-level across the full ability range. They will also have the opportunity to develop their own teaching skills and share ideas with colleagues.
Applicants should be organised, enthusiastic, and able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the subject and the way it is taught. The ability to teach other sciences, such as Chemistry or Physics, to at least GCSE level is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Biology and Psychology to students from Year 9 to A-level
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices
Requirements:
- Qualifications in Biology and Psychology
- Experience in teaching Biology and Psychology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
