About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team at Leominster Care Home, part of Bupa. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating a varied and nutritional menu that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and manage the kitchen team in prepping, cooking, and serving food
- Manage all mandatory paperwork, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, and procedures
- Cater for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes and Christmas parties
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for cooking, previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen, and relevant hygiene certificates. You should be a natural leader, open to new ideas, and have an innovative approach to cooking. You will also need to be able to mentor and support others and cherish the little moments with our residents.
