Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Kibworth Church of England Primary School.
Job Role- Provide support to teaching staff in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils, providing feedback and encouragement to promote engagement and achievement.
- Help to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.
Visas cannot be sponsored for this role.
Working PatternThis is a part-time position, working 22 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
Contract TypeThis is a fixed-term contract until July 2025.
SalaryThe salary for this role is £24,794.00 per annum, with an approximate starting salary of £12,416.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting the learning and development of our pupils. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide support and guidance to pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, providing support to teaching staff.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils, providing feedback and encouragement to promote engagement and achievement.
- Help to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.
- Prepare and utilize ICT resources to support pupil learning.
- Prepare and support the use of learning materials and create visual displays to facilitate a relevant physical learning environment.
- NVQ 2 in support Teaching and Learning, or equivalent.
- Experience of supporting teaching and learning in a formal setting.
- Knowledge of child protection and health and safety procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills.
