Job Summary

The Logistics Operative will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of stock within our critical environment. This involves assisting in the control of safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch and distribution of goods and products to our customers and end-users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Replenish stock requirements as necessary to maintain agreed inventory levels and timescales.
  • Process stock deliveries efficiently and within correct time frames, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to safety and security practices.
  • Responsible for storage and distribution of all stock, using initiative to resolve problems and escalating to line manager as necessary.
  • Perform general stockroom duties, including housekeeping, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and systematic replenishments.
  • Support administration activities, including order entry, expediting, customer call resolution, return goods authorisation, and vendor and customer interaction.
  • Ensure safeguarding of stock to prevent loss, processing and storing in accordance with supplier guidelines and company policies.

QE Facilities is a subsidiary company of Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust, providing non-clinical services to the NHS and other organisations. Our services include estates, facilities, procurement, medical engineering, and devices.

We offer consultancy services, advising clients on establishing a subsidiary company within an NHS body and providing VAT compliance advice.

QE Facilities operates under its own Terms and Conditions, which differ from Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and cannot offer employment under sponsorship arrangements.
