Cellular Pathologist

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our dynamic team at our hospital in Sussex, England.

• Diagnostic Services: Provide expert histopathological diagnostic services to patients, including reporting and clinical consultations.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Training and Development: Engage in teaching and training of junior medical staff to foster a collaborative environment.
• Research and Audit: Contribute to clinical audit and research activities to maintain high standards of practice.
• Clinical Governance: Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent, Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent.
• Registration: Full registration (and a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT): Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) within 6 months of interview.

Our hospital is a modern district general hospital featuring a 24-hour emergency department, a centre for trauma services, and a range of diagnostic and surgical services.

We also boast a consultant-led maternity unit and a Histopathology Department equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

• Competitive Salary: £99,532 - £131,964 per annum.
• Job Plan: Clinical Duties: 8 sessions per week, including reporting, MDT meetings, and clinical consultations.
• Teaching and Training: 1 session per week dedicated to the education of junior staff and trainees.
• Research and Audit: 1 session per week for clinical audit, research, and personal development.
