VPG is seeking a highly motivated and commercially aware Sales Coordinator to join our team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for preparing and managing sales quotations, overseeing quotations from inception to conclusion, and managing orders from entry to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage sales quotations in response to customer requests and external Sales Managers needs.
  • Oversee quotations from inception to conclusion ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution.
  • Manage orders including entry acknowledgment, dispatch planning, and invoicing guided by Planning and Purchasing reports.
  • Provide swift and comprehensive responses to customer inquiries regarding stock delivery and complaints striving to exceed expectations and strengthen relationships.
  • Coordinate product returns and arrange credits per RMA guidelines.
  • Raise purchase requisitions and convert them into orders managing communication with suppliers and updating due dates as necessary.
  • Maintain and update sales orders customer databases and related documentation.
  • Oversee procurement activities for repairs, Bonding, and hazardous items including raising necessary requisitions and orders.
  • Engage proactively with existing and potential customers to support external sales efforts.
