As a consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of gastrointestinal conditions
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other support staff
- Contribute to the development of our services, including service redesign, quality improvement, and research
- Participate in teaching and training, including medical students and junior doctors
- Work collaboratively with other departments and services to ensure seamless patient care
- Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Higher academic qualification
- Experience in Gastroenterology, including upper and lower endoscopy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
