## Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Communication Support Worker to join our team at Blackburn College. As a Communication Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to access their timetabled classes, work placement, and other College activities.

## Key Responsibilities:

* Support students to attend their timetabled classes, work placement, and other College activities
* Work with students from diverse backgrounds and have a sound knowledge and understanding of issues facing disabled people
* Possess a level 3 BSL qualification or equivalent
* Form effective and professional working relationships with students, staff, and other stakeholders
* Work in a variety of different learning environments
