About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Novus Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of maintenance engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to maximize machinery efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Manage and track maintenance activities, including preventative programs and scheduled maintenance through our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Create and manage maintenance budgets, including costings, resource allocation, and procurement of spare parts.
- Collaborate with production, planning, logistics, and hygiene teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development.
- Proficiency in CMMS and a good understanding of planned and preventative maintenance.
- A safety-first approach to all maintenance work undertaken on site.
