Position Overview:
Dovetail and Slate is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to support a prominent educational institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive quality reports related to SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) for management review.
- Identify and summarize potential risks while ensuring that performance evaluations are conducted in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for regulatory inspections and maintain up-to-date SEND resources on the intranet.
- Review and enhance college policies concerning SEND provisions.
Staff Development:
- Conduct induction and training sessions for staff on SEND systems.
- Support the management of SEND support personnel and engage in relevant professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing ALS (Additional Learning Support) and SEN (Special Educational Needs) services.
- Must be able to successfully complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
