Whether addressing minor dents or significant collision damage, our client's extensive network of repair centers employs modern repair methods to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring every vehicle is treated with the utmost care and pride.


Currently, they are seeking an MET Stripper Fitter for their bodyshop in Brackley.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

As an experienced ATA MET, you will be tasked with:

1. Executing all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicles.
2. Dismantling vehicles in preparation for the panel shop.
3. Conducting inspections, fault finding, and diagnostic assessments.
4. Ordering replacement parts as needed.
5. Reassembling vehicles with new components to restore them to pre-accident condition.

About You

Essential Skills:

- Ability to effectively plan workload to meet agreed timelines.
- Capability to work skillfully and safely under pressure.
- Competence in performing tasks according to manufacturer specifications.
- Ability to collaborate within a team as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility in approach to work.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards with a focus on customer satisfaction.


Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines is crucial, including the use of provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.


While the ideal candidate will have MET experience in a bodyshop, consideration will also be given to Level 3 qualified vehicle technicians seeking a career change.
