Job Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher for a Primary School in the Leicester area. The school provides a supportive environment for children to reach their full potential.

The Role

This is a full-time position, responsible for teaching a class of KS2 pupils. Duties include planning, recording, assessing, and delivering lessons. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils and be passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a class of KS2 pupils, planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assess and record pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement a high-quality syllabus for teaching, engaging students critically
  • Manage pupil attainment, ensuring all students are working towards expected progress
  • Provide a differentiated learning experience, ensuring all students receive the help they require
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching certification
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience in KS2
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to liaise with parents, staff, and students, maintaining a good relationship with all parties
