We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HGV Technician to join our team at DPD Group UK.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, including Mercedes Benz tractor units and trailers. This will involve fault diagnostics, MOT preparation, and mechanical and electrical repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing and maintaining a fleet of approximately 1500 vehicles
  • Fault diagnostics and repairs on vehicles
  • MOT preparation and weekly/monthly checks
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role, with knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair. Level 3 training in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served technician experience is desirable. Knowledge of working on Mercedes, DAF, Dennis, Volvo, and Renault vehicles is also essential.
