Freightserve, a leading Freight Forwarder based in the UK, is seeking an experienced Import Key Account Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing airfreight imports, roadfreight imports and exports, and courier shipments. A strong understanding of time-critical shipping is essential, as perishable and ship spares in transit shipments are a regular occurrence.
The role will involve:
- Customs clearance of airfreight shipments using CDS (Sequoia operating system)
- Road freight exports/imports customs entries, including T1 document preparation
- Coordinating with handling agents at LHR to obtain cargo release
- Arranging collections from LHR and deliveries to clients nationwide
- Quoting clients
- Administration, including invoice raising and supplier payment processing
- Providing strong quality customer service, as this is the foundation of our business
- Troubleshooting and attention to detail
A commission scheme is also in place, offering 10% of annual salary if business sales targets are met or exceeded each year.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours work from home possible.
