About the Role

The Performance Analyst will be a key member of the Halfords Group PLC team, responsible for collaborating with various departments to establish reporting that identifies performance opportunities, delivers regular insights, and interprets data to understand performance risks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with Central Operations, Field, and Garage Management teams to design and implement reporting that supports performance improvement.
  2. Produce regular business-as-usual (BAU) performance reports and conduct analysis to inform key stakeholders on business decisions and actions required to maintain or enhance performance.
  3. Collaborate with Central Operations, Finance, and Category teams to deliver a comprehensive proposition in the market, optimizing the Group Data Platform, Excel, and Power BI reporting.
  4. Develop and present data across various channels, ensuring timely and accurate information is available to stakeholders.
  5. Support projects with analytical data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business improvements.
  6. Manage and maintain data, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored.
  7. Respond to ad-hoc requests for data mining or analysis, providing timely and relevant insights to support business decisions.
  8. Engage with Field Teams to gather feedback, identify issues, and develop solutions to improve performance.
  9. Serve as the primary point of contact for performance-related inquiries from the Field Team.
  10. Utilize strong data skills to investigate and resolve data issues across large datasets.

Requirements

  1. Proficiency in Excel, with experience using Power BI is highly desirable.
  2. Ability to work collaboratively with Field Teams, gathering feedback, investigating issues, and communicating solutions.
  3. Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
