About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Content Strategist to join our team. As a Principal Medical Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in driving our scientific strategy and delivering impactful solutions that make a difference in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and scientifically accurate content for a wide range of deliverables, including reports, articles, and presentations.
  • Lead designated projects and provide support for junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Creative Director (Copy) to build our scientific strategy offering and help manage project outcomes.
  • Provide high-level scientific advice and guidance to clients and collaborate with the accounts team to build and advance our business partnerships.
  • Drive innovative ideas and concepts to provide added value to projects.
  • Ensure editorial control processes and industry regulations standards are met.
  • Represent the agency and demonstrate our values, contributing to the culture of the wider team.

Requirements

  • Expertise in multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, gastroenterology, haematology, and dermatology.
  • Ability to interpret scientific data and combine medical communication skills with creative thinking to conceive and write content across a wide range of assets.
  • Good understanding of marketing strategy and the ability to quickly pick up new knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to lead discussions.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to integrate core editorial processes and best-writing principles within team projects.
  • Competent and confident working autonomously and collaboratively across teams.
  • Previous line management experience is advantageous, with the ability to mentor, coach, and provide feedback to fellow writers.
