Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Leader to join our team at Broadlands Supported Living. As a Night Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during the overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security and Safety: Be responsible for the security of the building at night, ensuring all passage and security lights are on and fire doors are shut.
- Resident Support: Answer residents' bells at all times of the night and deal with any issues that may arise.
- Domestic Duties: Perform domestic duties such as ironing, tidying, refilling stock items, and preparing the dining room for breakfast.
- Record Keeping: Inform colleagues of relevant developments and ensure residents' personal files and all records are up to date at the end of the shift.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year of experience working with the elderly is required.
- Work Environment: Experience working in a supporting the elderly environment is also required.
- Location: The successful candidate will be required to commute to the West Somerset Area.
