Clinical Quality Assurance Lead

Position Overview
The Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Quality Assurance Lead to oversee the quality assurance processes within the Cambridge Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU). This role is pivotal in ensuring that all clinical trials conducted under the auspices of the Trust adhere to the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Establishing and refining quality assurance systems to uphold the integrity of clinical trials.
- Leading the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Providing expert guidance on compliance matters to various stakeholders.
- Developing and executing an internal audit strategy to monitor ongoing compliance.
- Managing the archiving processes within the CCTU.
- Overseeing the selection and management of external vendors and laboratories.

Qualifications and Experience

- Proficiency in managing documentation and developing standard operating procedures.
