Job Title: Clinical Lead Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Village Vet. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are maintained across the practice.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of veterinary nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and support the Head Vet in clinical decision-making.
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols to ensure consistency and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with the Head Vet and other clinical staff to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior veterinary nurses and students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the practice's nursing career framework.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Nurse consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia, and assisting with procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Vet and other clinical staff to achieve practice goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience in a clinical leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills.
