About the Role

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner at Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions. You will be responsible for undertaking medication rounds, dispensing controlled medication, attending emergency response situations, assessing patients, and undertaking reception screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Assess patients' health needs using evidence-based frameworks and risk assess using sound clinical knowledge
  • Ensure patients' physical and mental health needs are met throughout their period of custody
  • Make clinical judgments regarding immediate needs and long-term treatment
  • Develop and implement care plans to prevent hospital admissions

About You

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a passion for developing clinical skills in a dynamic environment. You will have a flexible approach and be able to work within a team that encourages new ideas and opinions on how to improve the service.
