Position Summary

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Training Specialist to enhance our vibrant training team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering essential training programs, including Mandatory and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training, to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate training sessions on critical topics such as Safety Intervention Training, Ligature Training, and Basic Life Support.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) in multidisciplinary clinical skills training.
  • Utilize various training methodologies to empower and develop trainees, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and guidelines.
  • Travel across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to conduct on-site training sessions as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Practical experience in 'Safety Intervention' techniques (SIT/MAPA).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated experience in training delivery and skills analysis.
  • Willingness to travel for training engagements.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of the training cycle, with experience in assessing competency needs and developing tailored training programs.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate learners through effective adult education techniques and presentation skills.
