We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Reservations Executive to join our team at the Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities in group reservations, driving sales leads, and increasing conversions.
Key Responsibilities:- Convert incoming enquiries into bookings, achieving targets and maximizing revenue
- Utilize the Opera system to manage individual and group reservations
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and professional handling of calls and interactions
- Create groups in the system, entering relevant information and drawing up contracts
- Ensure accurate reservation market codes and follow cancellation policies
- Contribute to departmental and hotel targets, objectives, and budgets
- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences
- Excellent organizational and administration skills
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- Confident telephone manner and high level of IT skills
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems, preferably Opera
- Previous experience in reservations or front office departments
