We prioritize and promote postgraduate education, providing access to training, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities.

In your role as a Lead Physiotherapy Specialist, you will possess a BSc in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification, along with registration from the Health and Care Professions Council. Your expertise in manual therapy, combined with your ability to effectively manage a diverse workload, will be essential. Proficiency in technology and strong communication skills are also key attributes.

A Continuing Professional Development (CPD) budget will be allocated to foster your ongoing learning and pursuit of clinical excellence.

The Role

In this position, you will address a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and postoperative cases, playing a crucial role in assisting our patients to achieve, maintain, and recover their desired health and wellbeing.

You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, allied health professionals, and consultants to optimize patient health and recovery.

  • Upholding the values and principles of Nuffield Health, promoting enterprising, passionate, independent, and caring behaviors.
  • Delivering evidence-based clinical care that is safe, effective, compassionate, well-led, and responsive to patient needs.
  • Monitoring the standard of treatment provided consistently.
  • Ensuring compliance with all professional, clinical, and integrated governance standards, and participating in clinical audits and quality assurance processes.

It is essential that you align with our values, which emphasize putting people first and delivering personalized, holistic healthcare. This commitment integrates you into a broader team dedicated to fostering a healthier future for each individual client.

Supporting Your Development

We are committed to the professional growth of all our clinical colleagues. Within our Learning and Development Academy, you will find a variety of internal CPD courses and online resources to enhance your clinical and professional skills. As a Physiotherapist at Nuffield Health, you will also have the opportunity to apply for funding support for relevant CPD activities and postgraduate studies, along with access to numerous apprenticeship programs.
