Position: Senior/Principal Epitaxy Equipment Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior/Principal Epitaxy Equipment Engineer to enhance our operations. This role involves delivering technical support to the Epitaxy equipment engineering team, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement equipment enhancements and upgrades
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of systems
  • Manage chemical inventory and spare parts
  • Provide guidance and training to operational staff
  • Support logistics initiatives
  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
  • Formulate preventative maintenance plans
  • Comply with safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting
  • Electrical qualifications such as BS7671 18th edition are advantageous

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in electrical engineering
  • Familiarity with semiconductor equipment
  • Understanding of pneumatic systems and PLCs
  • Ability to interpret equipment schematics
  • Experience handling hazardous chemicals and gases

Additional Requirements:

  • Day shift availability
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment
  • Availability for consultation or emergency response
  • Proficient in English
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
