Job Title: Children's Registered Manager
Job Summary:
Corus Consultancy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Registered Manager to lead our residential children's home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the team, ensuring that the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
- Child Care and Support: Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each child.
- Staff Development and Training: Lead and manage a team of skilled staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Safeguarding and Risk Management: Ensure that the home operates in a safe and secure environment, identifying and mitigating risks to the children and staff.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with social workers, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a residential children's setting, with a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management and Leadership qualification.
- Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience in managing a team, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Personal Qualities: A caring and open-minded nature, with the ability to work on call and adapt to changing circumstances.
