Credit Controller

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the financial health and stability of Atlas by joining our credit control team. As a Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely collection of payments from customers, while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and chase outstanding payments from customers, utilizing effective communication skills to resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans.
- Collaborate with the invoicing team and regional managers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure accurate recording of chase information.
- Prepare and send final demand notices to delinquent clients, as required.
- Provide monthly reporting to the regions and credit manager, highlighting debtor levels and overdue accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of files for the in-house company solicitor when escalation is required.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and proactively addressing issues to achieve credit control objectives.
Requirements- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to navigate various software tools efficiently.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and manage complex financial data.
- Ability to perform under pressure, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving credit control objectives.
